Meet Bret & Jorie Holman...

THE JOURNEY...

Bret and Jorie Holman were both won to Christ as seniors in college. Bret as a nominal Christian student and SAE fraternity member at the University of Southern California (USC), and Jorie as a nominal Jewish student and former college cheerleader from Cal State Long Beach.

They met at the same church they were attending as students, fell in love, and got married in the summer of 1992. Together they both served as campus ministers at the University of Southern California for five years, and then Bret served as the North American Director for Every Nation Campus Ministries the next ten years while getting his Masters at Fuller Theological Seminary. During that time they had four beautiful children (three girls and a boy), who are now grown and have started their own adult lives.

 
In 2006, they sensed the call to phase out of their corporate ministry duties and return to the mission field as domestic church planters and campus missionaries. They had a burning passion to win and make disciples in areas where most people did not attend church.

In the Summer of 2007, Bret and Jorie Holman moved to Las Vegas for the purpose of planting All People Christian Church of Las Vegas, as well as an outreach to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). 

 
After six years of planting All People Christian Church in Las Vegas, they merged with a nearby Assemblies of God church and together formed what is now called Life Christian Church, a church that is still serving students and residents in the Las Vegas area today.

 
During this time of transition, God reunited Bret and Jorie Holman with their spiritual family of origin, Every Nation Ministries, and they began preparing to move to Reno, Bret's hometown, to plant All People Christian Church of Reno at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) campus under the umbrella of Every Nation Ministries.  

After ten fruitful years of winning and making disciples, both on the campus and in the city, Bret and Jorie decided to close All People Christian Church but keep the campus ministry open. They did this so they could dedicate themselves more fully to reaching students as well as coaching other church planting campus missionaries through All People Christian Ministries - the 501(c)3 they started in 2007. Their life-long commitment to winning and discipling college students, as well as coaching those who do, continues on! 

ON A PERSONAL NOTE...

Bret and Jorie love golf (Bret) and ice skating (Jorie). They used to compete in both, and continue pursuing them just for fun now. They work very hard, but they also love taking relaxing vacations. Their favorite place to unwind together, and with their kids, is Lake Tahoe. They are also both extroverts who really love meeting new people.
